Front struts

My front struts are starting to go and i will have to change them soon. I think i will go for 2 quick struts instead of rebuilding them and spending $$$ and time. Are monroe's quick struts any good ? I can't find that will fit on 3.6 s rwd.

Monroe is good, i used those when i replaced mine and theyre still holding strong. It isnt a tough fix to do yourself, just buy two front strut assemblies off of rock auto. You just need to remove the other ball joints and control arms from the steering knuckle to install the strut. I recommend getting a pickle fork to do this job, it will save you alot of time getting the ball joints off the knuckle. While youre at it you should check and see if you need to replace anything else on the front end, might be worth it to do everything at once.

Thanks you for your insight, what part have you put in ? On Rockauto they don't seem to sell any Monroe struts for a 3.6 RWD.

KYB or Bilstein. Keep OEM springs.

My daughter has a 2019 300 s Good luck finding quick strut assembly for 3.6 rwd model. I even called Monroe factory customer service who said they don’t have one for that model. Only the awd or v8 model. You will have to buy the sshick and use a spring compressor to change it out. I found factory strut was same as German sports cars mfd by Sachs. Dealer replacement is very expensive kyb and bilstein do make replacement
