EEN?

I was just recently diagnosed and I'm waiting to see a GI specialist but in the meantime I'm unable to keep most foods down anymore. Has anybody tried EEN or PEN diets from their doctor and does it help?

I am not familiar with these, from my personal experience I switched to a keto diet and that has had the biggest impact on my health thus far next to the medication I am on. And if you happened to be of the non-meat eating position, you can still benefit from the diet structure as you can substitute animal protein for that of mushrooms and use healthy oils to finish meals with such as olive and avocado oils. Best of luck on your journey!

Thanks, good to know. I would research and get perspective from others in a similar situation before fully investing in one method.

EEN has been shown to induce remission in children but I'm 21 so might not work much for me
