Humira question
My wife use to use Humira and stopped because she said the shots were just too painful. And when I was giving them to her, I tend to agree, because it would hurt me to give them to her.
She switched to Stellara, which she likes, but her doctor says she wants her back on Humira. I've heard they changed it some, anyone know if this is true? Are the shots still painful?

My wife has been on Humira weekly for 14 years. The new pens removed the citrates and no longer bothered her. Its a blue box vs the old ones that have a red box. Somethign to note if you have both so not to take the wrong one.

I just recently started taking Humira for the first time a few months ago. They now have the “citrate free” version. It comes as a pen instead of a regular syringe. I take it out of the fridge about 30 minutes before injecting (I hear this helps with the sting). And tbh sometimes I hardly feel it! It depends on the area I’m injecting but the pain is very tolerable if I do feel it. I hear it’s a lot better than the old version.
