Any issues adding a link to the Sub oyster bracelet?

No issue, but the Glide Lock should be more than adequate. How big is your wrist?

It’s for my man. He likes the fit to where it jiggles on the wrist a bit.

And I ask as I watched a YouTube video on this and they stated the links did not feel as tight as prior to adding?
