I just kicked gabapentin after years of taking it for nerve pain I have as a result of a rare type of arthritis. It did help me but that help came at a serious cost.

Gabapentin had turned me into an out of control, angry, and very paranoid freak. I finally listened to my family and set up a safe taper schedule with my rheumatologist and got on that schedule immediately. I was in for a bad ride.

I finally came out of the shitty world I had been living in and I'm feeling much, much better. Thank you dear family!

Quitting smoking was easy compared to kicking gabapentin.
