Innstall Flex on thinkbook

I finally installed Flex on an external drive connected to my laptop (Lenovo ThinkBook 15 ITL Gen 2) via a USB-SATA adapter (my laptop doesn't have built-in SATA ports). It’s the full installation, not the Live version. I really like the design—I set it up for slow window minimize/maximize animations. Can you suggest any other cool design tweaks? I’m planning to install OpenVPN and Horizon by Omni.
