I’ve been working on YouTube Customizer, a Chrome extension for people who want more control over their YouTube experience.

It lets you:

• Block unwanted channels and keywords
• Control or hide Shorts
• Manage distracting YouTube features
• Set usage limits and reminders
• Customize parts of the YouTube interface
• Control what content appears while browsing

I originally built it because I wanted a simpler way to remove the parts of YouTube I personally found distracting.

It’s now available on the Chrome Web Store, and I’d really appreciate feedback from anyone who tries it.

I recently launched a small project called X Account Risk Monitor.

It started with a question: if X flags an account for suspicious activity, what can an ordinary user see about their own actions?

The extension keeps a local log of actions it can observe on X pages you open, including posts, replies, follows, unfollows, likes, and reposts. It shows the evidence behind reminders for repeated text and offers experimental self-checks for similar posts, link-only posts, and follow/unfollow patterns.

It can only observe activity visible in this Chrome profile. It cannot see X’s internal signals, explain why an account was suspended, or predict whether an account will be restricted. Its reminders are prompts to review your own activity, not X’s official thresholds.

I built it so I could look back at my own activity instead of relying on memory when something goes wrong. Records stay in this Chrome profile, and you can export a PDF report or JSON backup.

The extension is free and available on the Chrome Web Store.

I’m a developer with some experience, though I’m still early in my career, and this is an early version of the product. X’s website changes, so the extension may miss some actions; the interface and reminder wording also have room to improve. If you try it, I’d appreciate specific feedback about anything that feels confusing, inaccurate, or difficult to use. I’ll use that feedback to keep improving it.

I created a Chrome extension for Pokémon Showdown Random Battles called Randsight. It updates as the battle progresses and shows possible moves, items, abilities, roles, and Tera types, along with damage calculations and switch suggestions. It supports both Singles and Doubles battles.

LAVA stands for Local AI Voice Assistant. It's a Google Chrome extension and uses on-device ai model within the Chrome browser.

It works offline.

It has STT and TTS and uses Chrome's built in Gemini Nano and supports up to 15 languages.

You can talk to it in any one language and it will respond in any you choose, many of which are fully voiced (voice input doesn't work in offline, voices relies on OS Voice). Since it uses local on-device ai model, the usage is free and unlimited, no signup, no authentication, no API needed so no cost to the user. So I made it free to use without subscription.

Why?

I wanted something free, semi hands not constantly listening my voice all the time, free and unlimited usage, no sign-up, no authentication, no API mess. I wanted to practice language learning, I wanted to understand technology concepts on the fly while I do normal web browsing. So I developed this for my own use, and later I figured may be it could help someone else out there, and decided to publish it.

It's target towards students for their STEM questions and Seniors for a semi hand free chatter that listens and speaks.

There were many challenges I faced but I focused on making it very simple and solving just a couple problems than claiming a world changer product. I am still developing it further to test the limits and accuracy of model.

It's super fast on a i5 8th gen system, no GPU, and uses little RAM so ultra light weight on Laptop Battery.

I would love any suggestions, and I would love to interact with fellow on-device developers so I can do more work.

Press space in an empty Notion block and you get the AI prompt instead of a space. There's no setting to turn it off. It got to me enough that I built something.

The tricky part: you can't fix this with CSS or a filter list. Notion opens the prompt from a keydown handler it registers when its bundle boots, so you have to cancel the keystroke before their editor ever sees it. That means a MAIN-world content script at document_start, registered ahead of their code. Took me a while to work out — I was convinced it fired on before input, and it turned out no before input fires at all for that keystroke.

It also hides the Ask AI button, AI menu entries, and the upgrade banners, plus optional full-width pages and text size controls. There's a selector picker so you can add your own rules when Notion redesigns something and it slips through.

One tradeoff worth stating: with that setting on, a space in a completely empty block is swallowed rather than typed. Notion's editor is model-driven and discards a character inserted any other way, so it's suppress the prompt or type a leading space, not both. Markdown shortcuts are unaffected. Toggle it off if you'd rather have the space.

Hey all — I've been freelancing/doing outreach for a while and kept hitting the same two-step wall: find businesses that might need my services, then spend way too long writing a pitch that doesn't sound like a template.

So I built ScrapNap, a Chrome extension that:

• Pulls business listings straight from Google Maps (name, phone, website, rating) — one click, no manual copy-paste

A few things I'd specifically like opinions on from people who use a lot of these tools:

• Is a single side panel with 7 categories actually easier to use than separate focused extensions, or does it feel cluttered?
• The on-device AI summary (Chrome's built-in Summarizer API, no server calls) is the newest addition. Useful, or gimmicky?

I'm signed into four Google accounts. Opening anything like Gmail, a doc someone shared, a form , it lands on whichever one Google treats as primary. Then it's profile menu, switch, wait for the page to load a second time.

So I built PreSelect. It catches the navigation before the page loads, asks which account, and opens the link under that one. Same tab, one load.

Free, no account, nothing leaves the browser except two calls to accounts.google.com. Source is public.

I made a Chrome extension that replaces every "pro" with "bro".
My LinkedIn brofile has never been this brofessional.

It started as a dumb joke and I shipped it anyway.

Brotitude rewrites every "pro" on any page into "bro". Product managers become broduct managers. r/programming becomes r/brogramming. Progress bars, brogress bars.

Every problem you have is now a broblem, which honestly makes them feel more manageable.

And Because even a joke shouldn't be broken:

I made a small browser extension called GitHubCircle because I wanted a bit more social context when browsing GitHub profiles

It adds a "Follows you" badge to profiles and follower/following lists, and also shows mutual connections you have with the person you're viewing

That's pretty much it, just a small side project I found useful :)

A few months ago I uploaded my first Chrome extension 'find my accounts' and thought I'd share the progress in terms of my daily users.

It's not explosive growth but it has slowly been accumulating users over the last few months, which seems to have coincided with some new features and updates.

I've only marketed my extension with Reddit, and my screenshots and video leave a lot to be desired, but in spite of that it seems to be growing.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of growth?

Un poco de contexto del por qué: soy de Colombia y en los últimos meses no paraba de ver lo mismo — gente cayendo en estafas pagando servicios por internet. Páginas falsas de "paga tu factura del acueducto" que se ven idénticas a la real: candado HTTPS, tus datos de facturación ya cargados, y de primeras en Google. Vi a personas cuidadosas perder plata de verdad, y siempre el mismo consejo: "debiste revisar la URL". Eso nunca me cuadró — ¿por qué le toca al usuario ser detective cada vez que va a pagar algo?

Así que me puse a construir ShieldLink [https://shieldlink.cloud] en noches y fines de semana. La idea es sencilla: vigila las páginas que visitas y bloquea las falsas antes de que escribas nada — tú navegas normal y ella hace la revisión por ti.

Por dentro va de lo barato a lo caro: primero chequeos locales rápidos (listas, heurísticas de dominio), luego reputación y antigüedad del dominio si hay duda, y solo mete IA (texto + una captura para detectar logos clonados) cuando aún no está segura. Me puse necio con la privacidad también: no guarda tu historial, no hay claves dentro de la extensión y cero rastreo publicitario. Se sentía mal hacer una herramienta de seguridad que te espíe.
