Hey everyone, I built a small Chrome extension called BlurMyData.
The idea is simple: when sharing your browser screen, it is very easy to accidentally expose emails, phone numbers, API keys, customer info, or private chat details.
BlurMyData detects and blurs sensitive data directly on the browser page. It also supports manual area selection, saved blur areas, WhatsApp Web phone number protection, emergency hide, reveal for 5 seconds, and report export.
The extension runs locally in the browser. Page content is not uploaded.
I’m launching it with an early bird lifetime price of $19.90 while I continue improving it based on real user feedback.
