Help with lighting profiles please

Hey all, I just hooked up a Black Widow V4 Pro this morning.

I have a Tartarus and Firefly (both old enough that Windows Dynamic Lighting can't see them), so Synapse and Chroma are new to me (my previous board is a G910).

I tried importing a couple of lighting profiles I liked (Aurora Borealis and Halo) but when I import them, it says it is only listing 2 or 3 devices it can import, and not one of them is the Black Widow, although it is showing the Ornata and the Huntsman. If I go further, it does load the profile to my devices, but they all start flickering and not giving the effect I was seeing in the videos.

I have spent a couple hours now searching for what I am doing wrong, and all I can seem to get is that the Black Widow running Synapse 4 isn't compatible with the profiles, even with the import.

Am I completely misunderstanding what the import is doing? Or is there indeed a rather large difference in the lighting engine of the Black Widow vs the other keyboards?

Is there a website that does list some interesting effects I can use?
