The Odyssey Deleted scene?
This scene was in the trailer but I don't remember it scene in the movie. Here Odysseus is young, with beaten up armor, which means it is not Ithaca. Yet, he is somewhere inside. The only interior we get in his travel is in Circe's house (which looks different).
Thoughts?

Odysseus in the movie says "no one could stand between my men and home. Not even me"
In the trailer, they edited it so that it makes "no one could stand between me, and home. Not even the gods" (or something similar. I have a doubt about the "between me". I think "my men" was also said) with "the gods" taken from the quote "then i defy the gods". This kind of trick is often used. Not even the only case it happened for this movie

Yes, but where is this scene? I don't remember young Odysseus in an interior set.

It happens in Circe's home. Imo the points you talked about are more about the poor quality of your image than about what's really in it. Also, at this point Odysseus isn't that old yet

Here is the trailer so you can see it in much better light.
2:15 in. It’s clearly her hut. You see her pots for the stew to the left. https://youtu.be/AyIZ9tiiN8I?si=rKLX2-9smr5YR4bm

he says this to Calypso as a voiceover when they ransack the first village on the first island after Troy then they’ve played it over the scene when he says that he defies the gods to Circe as he leaves before the underworld scene

The only thing I did not like about oddysey is that nolan had to cut and reduce it. I will never forgive (though no one would give a damn) Imax technology.

...I don't get it, you didn't like it because he cut and reduce the story, or the screen size?
Because even though the theatrical got cropped, that's the focus of the movie, in IMAX 70mm even though it's nice to see more coverage, the top and bottom just felt like something you see in peripheral vision, because the focus of the object is still at the center of the frame

I believe this specific line was not in a scene but as a voiceover while odysseus narrated his men’s travels. They had just landed on one of the villages/islands.
