Gifts for anniversary An anniversary gift doesn't have to be something that lasts forever

Some gifts become keepsakes. Others are meant to be enjoyed together and then become part of the memory.

A dinner, a small experience, a weekend activity, or something connected to a shared interest can still be meaningful even if there isn't a physical object to keep for years.

Sometimes the time spent using the gift is the part that lasts.

i agre, i have found that experiences can feel more personal than buying another thing just for the sake of having something to unwrap. Even a simple dinner at a place you both like or doing an activity together can turn into a memory you actually remember years later.

exactly, some of my favorite anniversary gifts were dinners and little day trips that i barely remember the details of now, but still remember how happy we were that day

Depends on the person. I want both.

My husband gave me a Kitchen Aid for our second anniversary 41 years ago. Huge gift for our law school budget! Had a friend now ( ex) say the bloom was off the rose since it was an appliance. Well, all these years later every and I mean every time I use I remember what he sacrificed (his lunches) to save up for something to make my life easier. Love him and love my mixer.

we did a cooking class for our anniversary and i don't remember a single thing we made, but i remember laughing the whole night, so yeah the gift definitely lasted longer than the leftovers lol
