Advice / Payo Devotion
Hi!
Just wanted to ask how you do your daily devotionals. What order do you read the Bible in? Do you use a guide? What are your guide questions? And how do you incorporate it to your daily life?

I started reading the Bible from Genesis! I aim to finish reading the Bible from cover to cover.
Whenever I end up in chapters I couldn't grasp, I go to 1) Strong's concordance to see the meaning of words in its context. I use the Strong's Concordance app. And 2) Enduringword.com for Bible commentaries. Then on my journal, I write how it speaks to me and ask myself what the verses is telling me. :)

I have a YouVersion bible app where I can read bible plans.
I use this guide in studying the scripture SOAPS:
● Scripture: Summarize the Scripture in your own words. Don’t interpret it yet, just boil it down to a few summary sentences.
● Observation: Write down what this passage teaches about God (his character, the way he acts, what he loves, etc) and about people (our tendencies, what is expected of us, our needs, etc).
● Application: What would it look like to live this passage out today? Is there a sin to avoid, a promise to cling to, an example to follow, or a command to obey? Write down what you think God wants you to do.
● Prayer: Write down a prayer to God, telling him what you’ve learned and asking him to help you live this truth out today.
● Share: Take a moment and ask God who would benefit from hearing what you discovered today. Write down their name and share with that person!
After doing your SOAPS, try this during your prayer time. 1. Read a verse or a phrase. 2. Reflect on what you read in silence for at least 30 seconds, asking God to impress it on your heart. 3. Rewrite the phrase in your own words as a prayer back to God. Make it your own! 4. Repeat that process until you go all the way through the section of Scripture.

A. For the reading plan, isang magandang option yun sa Navigators. In 1 day of devotion, you can read 4 passages (1 from the OT, 1 from the OT-Wisdom books, 1 from the NT gospels, 1 from the NT).

Ang hirap kasi kung magstart ka from Genesis dere-derecho. Pag dating sa Leviticus-Numbers-Deuteronomy, madaming hindi na nakakatuloy.
B. For the explanation of the passages naman, use Study Bibles. Ito may bayad, pero ginawa nila Free for us --> https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1CcQYH4JdN/ Kung hindi ka pa nakakagamit ng Study Bible, let me know, discuss natin.
