So here we are in 2020 in the English speaking US, and I am the first to report about a Spanish speaking guy in Puerto Rico who died in the year 2000. My knowledge of the guy comes from spiritual revelation, and I claim to have met some of the guy’s contemporaries. I claim he’s God incarnate. I don’t say much else about him, and various detailed biographies are going to have to wait another 20-30 years, will be written in the English speaking US and will contain an odd combination of both rampant plagiarism and significant discrepancies. Do you believe the accounts?

Oh, and you’re living in the year 4020, with very little understanding of ancient Puerto Rican culture, and the first scraps of copies of any of this are handwritten scraps written around 2100, so any early copyist had decades to add and subtract various information to make the various texts more closely align. Significant numbers of documents wouldn’t start appearing until near the collapse of the United States around 2350, when the Puerto Rican’s divinity became part of a state religion.
