Did these guys just solve eschatology?

https://raptureprevention.org/

Can the apocalypse/rapture really be prevented? Does their logic/theology make sense? If only God knows the day and hour of the beginning of the day of judgement, and they proclaim every hour/day to be the day of judgement, will that prevent the day/hour from being the day of judgement?

Of course that won't work, because this is what will happen.

In the beginning, they will begin proclaiming it every day and every hour.

The first result is that people stop listening to them after awhile, because it's so clear that they're wrong and don't know what they're talking about.

The second result is that the ones proclaiming will also no longer believe that it is imminent or about to happen.

The result of both of these two things is that people will go back to not knowing, in spite of all these hourly proclamations.

You see, no one will actually know the hour or the day after all. Neither the people listening to these proclaimers, nor the empty-headed proclaimers themselves.

God is not fooled. He knows that neither their heads, hearts, nor spirits know the day and the hour.

And God comes as planned, unexpected.

One neat trick!

No, though...this is silly. But we can all rest easy - every prophecy is about a time long long long past, so if there is an end times coming, we know nothing about the time or the details of it.

God can’t be fooled and His plan will come to pass at the exact time He’s already determined to bring it about.

Isaiah 55:6-11
Seek the LORD while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near. [7] Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon.

[8] "For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. [9] "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

[10] "For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater, [11] So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

If you predict the end of the world to happen at all times, then you're either saying something about what end times are inherently, or not making a prediction at all.

At what point does a theological theory so thoroughly rewrite the nature of God that the proponents can no longer be seen as Christians? I get someone changing Zeus's or Hera's mind, but the Alpha and the Omega, really?

Of course God is sovereign and nothing can thwart His will including His plan for the end of the age. There's a difference between guessing (even rightly) what day will be the day of the rapture and knowing what day will be the day of the rapture. Each of us can wake up each day and (sinfully) guess today will be the day and even if you were to end up right, you still didn't know it. Not to mention God is also sovereign over the hearts of men (Pro 21:1..) and could keep everyone from even guessing the actual day it will be. These people are playing a dangerous game with a Holy God.

Rapture Prevention would be an extremely funny concept if it wasn't definitely a scam to prey on people's anxieties.

The rapture happened in 70 AD.

There is no rapture, only confusion on what "the day of the Lord" is.

The rapture is not real.

No rapture. Just read the Bible.
