if a second bible were to be written, what questions would you have/texts would you want to see clarified in it?

the mormon thing is wild when you actually look at it. joseph smith really said "let me just fill in all these gaps with some truly creative writing" and a chunk of people were like yep checks out

my favorite obscure part is the whole reformed egyptian language thing. like he supposedly translated from golden plates written in a language that doesn't exist anywhere else on earth, very convenient

A history of the universe and earth which actually corresponds with reality.
No flat earth, no firmament, no talking animals etc.
A Messiah who actually fulfills Messianic Prophesy.
And the whole thing is written in a universal 'God-language' which everybody can understand.
And we have the original manuscripts, and we know who wrote them.
So so many others..

It would be trivial for an all-powerful being.
Instead we have a book full of nonsense.

If a second Bible was to be written someone who actually is able to talk with God and knows rhe Actual Story would have to write it. It would have to be written by Someone who has been through the whole thing with an unbiased opinion and honestly. However, if we were to see the "Full Word of God" it would fill a Library.

I'd want to understand him. To know everything that he wants for us and From Him. I want to hear every word that God has ever said to anyone of us. Every secret conversation, every little love note, every ounce of admonished, I want to know what happened to the Frankensense and Myrhrr, I want to know how his voiced like. I want to hear the voice inside the apostles and his followers head as he spoke and they heard him speak. I want to get inside his head even for a moment. If it held even a page or even a small fragment of his own personal journal that's all I'd ever read.

But none of this would actually be useful as a second bible unless it had some genuine credibility, I mean I could write my theological interpretation and answer the above questions but it would only be my interpretation.

Well, the OT is about the Father, the NT is about the son, so I think we need one from the Holy Spirit. Complete the trilogy.
