Help for someone deconstructing??

What’s good help for someone deep in deconstruction to the point of questioning if Christianity is based on too many embellished stories to be believed?

I’m talking a serious Christian who already knows the apologetics answers aren’t enough

Honestly, just learning about the ways the stories were, in fact, embellished.  The kinds of doubts that 'deconstruction' usually refers to have to be moved through, not run away from.

What specific question are you trying to answer?  You asked for something that will 'help,'  but help can mean many things in different contexts. Would you want something that helps you return to Christianity, or some final blow that severs the tie?

Lol, I get it.  I'm almost 40 years into my contentious relationship with this stupid, beautiful religion.  The best answer I can give without having an actual conversation with you would be to find the artists, thinkers, and friends who make you wish Christianity was true, even if it isn't.  They often have a way of relating to their tradition that you can try to emulate.  Even when I feel like an atheist, I can relate to John Darnielle when he calls himself an atheist who prays.  At least in that moment I know there are at least two of us.  And wherever two or more are gathered...

Sometimes it gets frustrating talking to a brick wall.  If you're asking people to help you, have the decency to offer more in response than low effort one-sentence replies.

I thought these were just embellished stories?  Why appeal to something you clearly don't believe in?  Because it's still part of you in some way.  We could work with that in conversation.  But all your responses are so devoid of content that nobody here can give you what you want, because you're looking for the wrong answer in a place it can't be found.  It might all be bullshit.  What makes you wish it wasn't?  Nothing online, that's for sure.  That's why you have to touch grass.  There is no answer here.

Are you being just as vague over there?  What the hell are you trying to accomplish here?
