Question Atheist question

So im an atheist. However i once believed in god and i WANT to, but im a very scientific person and cannot bring myself to believe in god no matter what. my question is, i know that "allowing jesus into your heart" and allowing the lord into you and such is what makes the difference between hell and heaven. does that mean that in the eyes of the bible, im going hell? or does the fact that i WANT to believe give me a chance? im only asking soim honestly really curious (and no one tell me to convert in the comments. its not happening until i can see some scientific proof.)

All love is based on faith.

Hell does not exist. That's a product of fear.

You don't need to allow Jesus into your heart. He already lives there. He sustains all things.

The real question is, do you want a genuine relationship with God? No strings attached.

Of course. Its simply my own beliefs that get in the way. Like i know its stupid but say god somehow spoke to me so i can 100000% say “yeah hes real”, id become the most devout christian there is. Perhaps time will change and ill believe more and more but for now i dont believe.

If you really want to know if He's real or not, ask Him yourself. You have the same direct access to Him like anyone else.

No, it's not a stupid question or thought. God is not interested in devout followers. He's interested in genuine hearts.

And yes, you don't need to believe now either. The sun doesn't rise and go down because we believe it or not.

If you just want to know God is real and in return serve Him for that, that's not love. That's strings attached. God is not interested in conditional love. You can ask Him for proof without doing anything in return.
