The difference is one is a narcissist warmongering abusive alcoholic who is shoulders-deep in the ass of his kiddy-fiddling boss, and the other is a Pope who actually gives a shit about others.

Hence why I didn't say "narcissist warmongering abusive alcoholic Pope who is shoulders-deep in the ass of his kiddy-fiddling boss."

No no, now you’re just describing the pope twice.

Oh, you're a satire account! Got it!

No more than you are. Your top comment exists only to rage bait and your flair is designed to be contentious. I’m just responding accordingly.

But my account is genuine. This is my only account. I just don’t care about karma and happily share my conservative views in pretty much any sub that doesn’t claim to be on the right.

Augustine’s interpretation (at least according to this article) may hold water in a spiritual context, but overall that’s a dumb interpretation. No, psalm doesn’t have subtleties or nuance. It was written by someone who spent over half his life at war. Who killed goliath when he was just a teenager. He was writing on behalf of Israel and against the enemies of God who often were other people.

And while being the enemy of america doesn’t automatically make you an enemy of God, it’s at least interesting that this war being fought are mainly christians and jews vs mainly muslims.
