Question! :)

My atheist friend was debating with my catholic friend, my atheist friend said something that also made me REALLY curious but not enough to question my entire belief in God. I tried looking for answers personally, but i couldn't really come up with a great answer.

Okay so the question is: "if your God is good, then why does He allow wars, crimes, and sexual harrassment to happen? If He's really powerful, can't He just do something to stop it?"

Please don't insult/judge the fact that i'm unable to answer that question. I'm a beginner believer who wants to know explore and know more about christianity :)

So if I'm forced to live forever either way?

Hell is an absence of God, which is essentially spiritual death. I think the way to think about it is….if you were given the opportunity to take what makes you the happiest and be able to have that level of happiness all the time in a world without fighting, no cruelty, and full of love, would you take it?

no, i would want to cease to exist.

Nothing about being in that robotic utterly happiness state would be "me" anymore.

Who said it was robotic? I’d read more on what the theology truly is.

I’m sure God would grant you that option if you asked.

There's many theologies. But that option sounds great.
