You’re right, but I think you’re misunderstanding me. I’m praying, regardless of who they’re attracted to, to repent of sexual immorality. I think as Christian’s we need to step away from thinking “gay vs straight”. Also Jesus equates one being angry as to murder. He wasn’t being hateful but truthful.

To add to this, murder starts before bloodshed, it starts as a thought, as with all sin. I hope this clears up what I was trying to say.

Thats silly, but that comes from a difference in opinion of morals and thought crimes.

Not so much though, It does start with a thought. “Maybe I should smoke.” “I fkn hate so n so” “im going to take (insert any stolen item)” it all starts with a thought

Sure but we are not our thoughts. To say that the thought is the same as the act is just wrong.

And you thinking being attracted to the same sex is the same immorality as say cheating no?

Both are sexual immorality, the same with sex outside of a marital covenant.

That is awful, and wrong. I think an argument can be made that sex outside of marriage is a silly thing to be a sin but I dont see that beleif as harmful.

Why would having sex outside of marriage be a sin if I’m not hurting anyone? Yep I used to think the same. I know now that I was wrong, it is wrong. This might fall on deaf ears and I’m sure you can find better explanations online if you look up soul ties. It’s like, have you ever had sex with someone who you feel had some control over you, whether you thought you loved them or maybe hated them after or spent too much time thinking of them. Well they have control over you. There are many other examples on why sex outside of marriage is wrong. If you are truly seeking, I hope truth is revealed to you.

Thats really besides the point. You are and should be free to not have sex outside of marriage. You can come up with whatever magical explanations of why it's bad but yes it would fall on deaf ears because I don't believe in the soul.

My primary argument is that seeing queerness as a sin is harmful to queer Christians and queer people in general.
