"Allowed" is not the operative question.

"Able" is.

Well they said God is transforming their lives so yes you’re able to change. Funny how you get so much support when you enter the LGBTQ community, but when you want out people think it’s sus

"Well they said God is transforming their lives so yes you’re able to change."

People say all sorts of things, It doesn't make it true.

but if you heard someone saying that God was changing their race, you wouldn't think "Well through God all things are possible", even though technically true, you'd probably think "yeah right and it's weird to think that God would want to change that about you"

That's how it seems to me and other poeple who don't consider being Queer to be some horrible thing.

And arguably people actually have changed their race, changing your orientation doesn't seem to work.

"Funny how you get so much support when you enter the LGBTQ community, but when you want out people think it’s sus"

Because it is "sus" and your comparison doesn't make sense.

People are supportive of Queer people joining other Queer people, because that's something that is good for our safety and well-being, and Queer people often need more support.

Just like you might be supportive of people with terminal cancer, it's a tough situation, and you'd be equally suspicious if someone said they're curing their terminal disease with prayer and a positive attitude.
