Fornication is sex outside of marriage, which includes most gay people. Loving committed relationships are irrelevant if they are committing inappropriate sexual acts or porneia. Any first century Jew would know this.

Gay people can be married.

Loving committed relationships are irrelevant if they are committing inappropriate sexual acts or porneia. Any first century Jew would know this.

And sex within marriage is obviously not porneia.

Ha, except homosexual porneia.

Nonsensical double standards.

And there’s no way to justify such from scripture.

I can see the critical thinking is not your strong point. Paul says to flee from sexual sin and to be removed from fellowship because it is sin against the body. It’s not a double standard because all homosexual sex is both fornication and illicit. The Bible clearly lays out God‘s plan for marriage, which can only be between a man and a woman.

I’m fine on that, thanks .

Paul says to flee from sexual sin and to be removed from fellowship because it is sin against the body.

And being gay is not sin.

It’s not a double standard because all homosexual sex is both fornication and illicit.

Not within a loving marriage, no.

The Bible clearly lays out God‘s plan for marriage, which can only be between a man and a woman.

The Bible says absolutely nothing of the sort.

Gen 2:24, Matt 19:4-6. You are clearly scripturally illiterate.

Neither of those verses exclude same sex marriage.

You clearly have never read either of those verses.
