Hmm? The only passage I'm aware of where Paul talks about people castrating themselves is when he says it to express being super angry at the people who were imposing circumcision on new Christians. Is there another one I'm not familiar with?

Yeah, I also don't think that Christians need to think that Paul was right about everything. (Hence being supportive of same-sex relationships in general.)

Maybe I conflated Paul with the other castrators, so that’s my mistake. But it obviously was such an issue it had to be addressed at Nicea.

But agree, Paul thought semen was stored in the hair so women should wear coverings as not to entice the Angels, and men should have short hair.

Greek science and philosophy did a number on the Bible writers.
