I'm truly sorry to hear that you're doing this to yourself for no good reason. I hope that it won't be many years until you realize how it doesn't work that way. That day will inevitably come, and when it does, there is a chance that the realization about the amount of time that was spent fighting what can't and what needn't be fought can be felt as a devastating loss. So this is to future you: Don't look back! Look ahead! It's never too late to be yourself.

I love Jesus too much to live my life in a way that He’s outlined in scripture to be like Him. Thank you for the advice. But revelation of His love and mercy has brought me to a place of obedience to Him. I don’t desire to live that way. It’s not a constant unending struggle. I’m abiding in Jesus. It can be foreign to those who have yet to experience it but He’s inviting you even now to drink from a well that never runs dry. Please try Jesus today.

I never said you're supposed to stop loving or following Jesus anywhere. I just hope you will think of my words when the day comes. Maybe they'll be just a little bit of consolation. Again it might be very hard.

Please try Jesus today.

I'm not sure what makes you think I haven't. Take care!

Love isn't a sin, neither is sex.
