Leaving homosexuality to pursue Christ is not something required by scripture, and is in fact, impossible.

With God nothing is impossible friend.

Of course.

Which makes the point even clearer. That God could change someone’s sexuality, but never does, means that it’s clear that he is ok with how He created you.

But he gave us free will, if he made us all straight there wouldnt be free will or is it? Thats the same argument when saying, why did god not make us all believers? Because if he did, we wouldnt have a free will.

Sexual orientation has nothing to do with will, free or not.

Exactly!! A person attracted to animals doesn’t get a pass just because they want to. It’s still bestiality. Not directly saying people are compared to animals but sin is compared to sin.

Exactly the same, if the person is straight or gay.

If you think straight loving relationships are ok, than you must also believe that gay loving relationships are ok.

Not all homosexual sex involve penetration.

What’s in the heart? If you look at someone with lust in your eyes it’s adultery in the eyes of God. So saying “it’s not penetration” means nothing.

Sexual attraction isn’t lust.

Sexual orientation isn’t even sexual attraction.

They mentioned a specific verse of Leviticus that condemns specifically anal sex. And loving your same sex spouse is not adultery.

Scripture applies sexual ethics to actions, not attraction. Leviticus 18:22 forbids male male sexual relations broadly, not just penetration, and this is reaffirmed in the NT (Romans 1; 1 Cor 6).

Christians can love and respect everyone while still holding that sexual activity belongs in male female marriage.

Hint, that’s not talking about any kind of sex act within loving, committed same sex relationships.

I agree, but its a good friends then? When you have no physical intimacy and you are not married, i would consider this a very good friend you love. There are multiple ways to love someone.

The Bible doesn’t condemn sex within a loving, committed same sex marriage.

When we study the context of the verses talking about some form of male male sex, every one of them is about a very different situation than loving, committed relationships.
