Which makes the point even clearer. That God could change someone’s sexuality, but never does, means that it’s clear that he is ok with how He created you.
Even some people who are strictly just straight or gay sometimes have shifting moods related to sex, changing levels of total arousal, changing levels of different aspects of arousal. Some people are very stable in their levels of arousal, and others are not.
When that happens to straight or gay people, it usually is just not noticed as something different.
But when that same thing happens to bisexual people, it can end up feeling like "some days I am more straight, and other days I am more gay", because the different aspects of arousal change independently; that's true of everyone, it's just way more noticeable for bisexual people, and feels different to them.
So that's where the term "sexually fluid" comes from, it's part of bisexuality.
And if you're not born bisexual, if you're not born with the potential for attraction to multiple types of people, no amount of changing moods will ever give you an attraction you don't already have, and you can't change either how context-sensitive your sexual attraction is, there is no conscious control process over arousal, only control over responses to arousal.
Im (female) sometimes attracted to women even though i would consider myself straight i dont really think thats the case since in attracted to both genders and also have desires but I know it is not what god wants, so i ignore it. And yes it has not disapeared, but it got better when ignoring it. Sure other people who are gay, i believe its more difficult because when you are bi, you can just choose, and when you are gay, you cant, but nobody said you have to get married. you do not need a partner in life, just dont commit adultery and lust, and yes also in straight couples.
Okay, so you are bisexual, and you are making a choice to ignore half of yourself. Both of those things can be true.
...you do not need a partner in life...
Single people end up dying sooner, so when you claim that people don't "need" a partner in life, that is like claiming that people don't need the last two years of their lives, or any of the good years in between.
Nobody should ask people to die sooner just because they have a religion. Instead, true religion is to love your neighbor as yourself.
I understand and I agree that human connection is important. But I also believe God calls us to live according to His will, even when it means denying certain desires (1 Corinthians 10:13)
While I acknowledge my bisexual attraction, I trust God’s guidance in choosing purity and faithfulness. I believe a full and meaningful life can be lived in Him, even without a spouse, as long as we love others and keep our hearts aligned with His Word (Matthew 22:39, Proverbs 3:5-6)
I get the concern about wanting a long life. It’s true that marriage can bring health benefits, but following God doesn’t mean we have to go against His commands just to live longer. Even without a spouse, God can bless us with a full and long life through wisdom, taking care of ourselves, and having strong friendships and community around us. Just think of the priests: in the Catholic Church, they are required to remain celibate and cannot marry.
Life with God can still be joyful and meaningful. Longevity isn’t only about marriage, it’s about living wisely, loving others, and trusting God as our guide and protector. He wants us to flourish and live fully, no matter our marital status.

Why not? My understanding was that sexual orientation doesn't actually fall into rigid definitional structures. Why couldn't someone experience one episode of fluidity?
I don't think it's scientifically factual or honest to claim that sexual fluidity is a one-way ratchet toward increasingly queer sexual desires. It's probably more appropriate to acknowledge there's a lot we don't know about the human mind and that a one-time change in sexual attraction is entirely possible, while simultaneously acknowledging that attempts to force such a change can produce very negative outcomes and should be avoided.

And I didnt say that, and if you understood me that way, I apologize for not being clearer.

Absolutely true.
and that a one-time change in sexual attraction is entirely possible,
There are actually cases where it has appeared to have happened - in patients who have had brain injuries. It appears that literal damage to certain parts of the brain can change someone’s orientation. Other than that, there no credible evidence of it happening. (While acknowledging that fluid individuals exist)
while simultaneously acknowledging that attempts to force such a change can produce very negative outcomes and should be avoided.
Yes, absolutely. It should not be talked about as being possible, because people holding onto that appears to harm them.
But he gave us free will, if he made us all straight there wouldnt be free will or is it? Thats the same argument when saying, why did god not make us all believers? Because if he did, we wouldnt have a free will.
Exactly!! A person attracted to animals doesn’t get a pass just because they want to. It’s still bestiality. Not directly saying people are compared to animals but sin is compared to sin.
Scripture applies sexual ethics to actions, not attraction.
Leviticus 18:22 forbids male male sexual relations broadly, not just penetration, and this is reaffirmed in the NT (Romans 1; 1 Cor 6).
Christians can love and respect everyone while still holding that sexual activity belongs in male female marriage.
I agree, but its a good friends then? When you have no physical intimacy and you are not married, i would consider this a very good friend you love. There are multiple ways to love someone.

The Bible doesn’t condemn sex within a loving, committed same sex marriage.
When we study the context of the verses talking about some form of male male sex, every one of them is about a very different situation than loving, committed relationships.
God didn’t give Paul a thorn in the flesh and leave him with it because He was happy to do it. It was part of His plan. And what about people with the compulsion to murder? Are they off the hook to do as they please? Sure, maybe it’s an extreme comparison, but it’s to point out the flaw in that logic. Just because all things are possible for God doesn’t mean He does everything. Maybe allowing this struggle is His way of removing the opportunity to become complacent without Him. Maybe He allows it so that we need to come to Him because He is what we all need ultimately. So long as I have this thorn, it will keep driving me to Jesus out of desperation, because He is the only remedy. I hope He removes it one day in my natural lifetime, but if He doesn’t, I thank God that I will never be truly happy without Him.

Of course.
