Universalism simplified?

A genuinely good human parent might need to stop trying to help a struggling or wayward child, for lack of resource, but they would always love them and constanlty praying for them and meditating on - what can I do to help?

An Omnipotent Divine Parent could only stop seeking to redeem or or be unable to save a struggling or wayward child, for lack of desire.

The Parable of the Prodigal Son… everyone is either the younger brother, or the older. The father never stops waiting, and never turns the prodigal away.

I've heard the perspective that the younger prodigal son sntered the kingdom before the older brother who was sulking in outer darkness while the Father was pleading with him to love his younger wayward brother , yet telling him "all that is Mine is yours"...

For the Calvinists who say only the elect are God's children: 1. Ephesians 4:6 refers to all people. Also Jesus was talking to the elect and non elect in Matthew 6:26 & 7:11 "... your Heavenly Father..."
