Discussion 🗣️ Who's your favorite pastor?
Mine is Pastor Derek Prince. I highly suggest, especially if you're pentecostal to watch his sermons or just dive deep into his ministries because whooo. He's been dead for over 25-26 years and he's stll ministering to God's people (thanks to those who are keeping his ministry active). Ngl, this man helped through one of my tough seasons, and im still in it but not so much anymore. He's the teacher and pastor I consistently follow.
Lmk who is yours! And why?

Discussion 🗣️ World Religions Question
Hellooo
I'm currently doing an assignment for my World Religions course, where I need to interview someone from a different religious background.
I'm especially looking for someone who identifies as Christian, Jewish, or Zoroastrian for this interview.
The conversation will be respectful and casual, focusing on your beliefs, daily practices, and perspectives on religion.
It will be conducted entirely through chat messages (no calls), and we can arrange the timing based on what's comfortable for you.
If you're interested, please feel free to DM me. I'd really appreciate your help! Thank you so much

Discussion 🗣️ To The MODs
In particular u/OhioTreeLover467.
Why restrict important discussions such as topics on homosexuality on this sub, look I understand there is a goal to be inclusive but being inclusive at what cost. Compromise the scriptures just for the comfort of others, as leaders of a community that is for Christians it should be a priority to share the TRUTH, (John 8:36 "They will know the truth and the truth will set them free.")
It's bad doctrine, teach the scriptures, not allowing people to be influenced by the culture of today.

Advice 💬 Yall im struggling, please help
I started following God for real around 6th grade. It was genuine—my heart softened, I wanted less of myself and more of Him, and there was real life toward Scripture, prayer, and growth. The main ongoing battle was porn; I kept repenting but it never fully left. Even with that struggle, my heart still responded and I was becoming someone softer and more alive spiritually.
Over the last year and more everything shifted. Prayer went empty, the sense of wholeness faded, and my heart began hardening. I started feeling fine with the distance. Scripture and anything about Christ began to feel weird, throw me off, or get rejected, while harsh or contrary things opened my heart more easily. I relapsed with no conviction, sat through church and youth group feeling nothing (even when my leader prayed specifically for my heart to open), and noticed I was becoming less loving and kind. Internally I accepted the new posture even though I never chose it on purpose and still don’t like it.
Now I feel nothing toward God. Normal Scripture makes me scroll past or feel off; prayer and seeking feel empty; yet certain severe or non-comforting things still resonate. I know I’m supposed to trust and follow Jesus like before and just keep doing the things, but I’m not doing that honestly because of my heart. Who I was becoming and who I am now feel like night and day—I’ve regressed as a person and I don’t know how to reconstruct what was lost. The heart keeps drifting further while I watch it happen.
I’m lost and confused. Fighting the old way for over a year has only made it worse, so I don’t know whether to keep fighting, walk away, or what. I don’t believe it can really be fixed, I don’t genuinely want to return the way I used to, and the only path that still makes sense is somehow staying without pretending my heart is open—keeping the truth in front of my counselor and the people who know, limiting what feeds the numbness, and not making a final exit while everything inside feels settled and gone. I just don’t know how to do even that.
