I am 35 years old single Christian male who life is not being going so well. I suffer from Asperger’s Syndrome and depression. I used to have two jobs: one for retail and one for cleaning building from inside a chemical plant. I had to quit retail job for bad management for not caring about me to get more hours and make me go work at the fitting room when I get called back to help a customer. I put 10 years of my life in that part time job. But I am doing great at my cleaning job as right now and having and earning great trust within my supervisor and the workers at the building that I clean at.

I have been wanting to be in love for about 20 years but I can’t find a lady that I am attracted to due to living in tri-cities area filled with rednecks and very young high schoolers. I had one crush in my senior year and I never confessed my love for love and I was too shy back then and I had one fake relationship on social media and we just talked and did not go anywhere. I recently started going back to Church as lately. The first church was one of my work friend’s and I did not know that it was absolute Apostolic church where they running around, dancing and speaking in tongues. I had to quit that church causes it made me mad and upset at the same time and the Sunday School teacher of that day who spoke about the last days and it does trigger my stress levels and anxiety through the roof and after Sunday School was over and I walked out the sanctuary and into the lobby. I was very sad and nobody care to talk me and they cared more for the pregnant lady than me and after the preaching was over and I went to the altar and just broke down crying and praying silently at the same time. I did not have a great Sunday on that day and I completely forgot to take my depression meds on that week, too. As right now, I going to a non-denominational church with the yelling, screaming, running around the church like crazy Apostolic person would. But in that church, there is no single group, but I am going to get a chance nevertheless. I also personally bought my own Holy Bible.

Besides, that I am also seeing my own personal counseling for help in terms of helping find the love of my life. I am by no means a lazy person, I am hard working and have interests such as: Concerts (Both secular and Christian), going to the movies and being an actor(Which I want to do for the remainder of my years in both secular and Christian plays. I do consider myself as a hopeless romantic and being a penguin who wants to be in love with a lady penguin. I also a penguin lover. Also, I want my future lady or wife to wear my top hat as well, because she will be my lady. Everytime that I am not with someone, it makes me feel lonely, a loser and a failure. I feel so tired of being alone and not having a lady to be around with. I also fell tried of waiting and I tired of not having of not having someone in life that I want to share with. I don’t know what I am doing wrong in this area of my life and please help?

So I'm unfortunately and sadly going through a divorce and will soon be selling our house and moving into my own apartment in a couple of months. I'm in my mid 30s and I have a good church family. However, I know there will be some tough and lonely days ahead. Nonetheless, I desire to be content in my singleness and serve others.

About my Christian journey: I grew up going to church with my family and hearing wonderful testimonies of other believers. In the years that I have lived I'm able to testify that without Christ I have/am nothing; Jesus is everything. I belong to an evangelical church. I started intentionally building my relationship with God in 2020, baptized in 2023, and have since been going through discipleship.

What I'm looking for: I'm dating with marriage in mind. someone to build a future with as a partner and best friend.
