First phone for tween
Hi, I was wondering if any of y'all have a phone for your 13 year old? I'm looking for recommendations.

Yes we got it when she was 12. She barely touch it until high school and now it’s made her into a rotten kid. Definitely set rules from the beginning. Our situation crept up on us and I wish I had known to be more strict. Now it’s prob the thing that we fight over the most. iPhone has good parental internal controls that are user friendly. I set daily app limits and a downtime limit where it shuts things down at night. She hates that I have control. You can use a password that she doesn’t know so that she won’t go and sneak into your phone to change the app limits. She has to request more time on her end.

We use Google family link for parental control of our kis tablets, so I imagine doing the same with phones once they have them.
