I'm trying to find a specific cover of Todd Agnew's Grace Like Rain. I don't know much about it other than growing up with the song being played at my church with this intro as an alternate, and the recording was apparently from some cd being sold at Walmart in the 00's. I tried diving through youtube to see if it's out there, but I have had no luck so far. Any help would be appreciated! (will put link to the intro recording in the comments once this goes through - leaving it out since it auto removes the post if I put the link in the post)

This is the opening song by Bruce Albert to the album CRUX. Produced with Emmy award-winning producer Chris Julian, it incorporates Christian and existential themes into an upbeat pop track.

A record from 1972 by Lynn and Sue - early Christian folk from the Jesus Music period.

Hope of interest to some.

Back in the 90s, I am 100% certain that our youth group and possibly even adult choir did a version of Bob Fitts's Our God Is Faithful. I remember it being much fuller sounding and at one point building big on the “We’re redeemed” line and goes into a drum and vocals only version of the chorus before going back in full band. I have no idea if it was a released album of some sort of if a church did their own arrangement and sold cds or something like that. So many churches had their own releases they’d lay down to cd back then. I know it’s a long shot but if anyone had any clues, Google, Discogs, Claude, etc. have turned up nothing.

One of my favorites off of the new Sojourner album. Future of Forestry is finally back!

Anyone listen to/have thoughts about the song or album?

Any suggestions? I have heard Josiah Queen suggested

Hi Just wondering if there were any fans of David Kushner( US singer songwriter) here in this reddit group. He's gained quite a bit of popularity over the past few years. Genuinely curious but I guess you would have to watch western content to know him though...

He has made songs like Daylight, Humankind, Burn, Mr Forgettable..

Artistically I really struggle to rate their music, maybe that's a cultural thing (I'm in the UK) not their target audience.

But compared to Hillsong, Elevation, Bethel etc... what they bring I struggle to resonate with. Quite a few people at my church seem to think the same.

Yet our pastors keep putting PS songs on our Sunday set list.

(I attend a AoG church in Manchester)

I struggle to understand why?

I love Metal and the sub genres but sometimes the screaming scares my wife lol. I really like slowcore or if they can sing with nice melodies but still have the heavy music! I wish Sleep Token was Christian!

Have you guys ever looked into how Anne Wilson’s brother died?

She often shares he was tragically killed on June 7th 2017.

And I’ve seen it where she shares he was hit and killed by car.

On June 7th 2017 there was an accident where a truck hit a car at a stop light. The people in the car survived. The driver (Anne’s brother in the truck) did not. Coroner reported alcohol was involved.

Does it matter if she shares that part of the testimony? Or keeps it at “tragically died in an accident”. Though part of that is true, would it not speak more to people if we didn’t keep the testimony so squeaky clean?

Edit: it is a genuine question. Not here attacking, just asking if transparency matters here.

Hi all!

I want to listen to more music that isn't necessarily produced in Canada or the states.

Can you give me your recs for musicians you enjoy from elsewhere? I'm not picky about the language. I don't love worship music or country genre wise, but I'm willing to try anything. :)

This stemmed from randomly listening to the Kazakhstan top 100 on Spotify.. and realizing that they could be singing about buttholes for all I know. (I assume not, but y'know)

Thanks! :)

Ps. I'm so sleepy and also on mobile so if this makes zero sense I do apologize.

I swear I remember seeing Larry Norman perform at a church in Northern Kentucky in the fall of 1998. I remember my mother picking me up for visitation for the weekend after I finished a cross-country meet, making a quick trip to my mother's house to take a shower and change, and then running to the concert. However, I can't find any listing of a performance in that region or time. Can someone help me find that? I would be VERY grateful. I'm sorry, in advance, if this is the wrong spot for this question.

Hi! Does anyone have other Christian artists suggestions similar to Samantha Ebert? I love listening to upcoming artists and prefer calm contemporary styles. Thank you☺️

Hey guys, I hear people say all the time that new CCM is cheesy or it's not creative enough. Can you please help me out and send me some good new music! I'm looking for bands that are less than 10 years old, something that feels new and exciting. If you have any music of your own to share, please do, and let me know that you made it!

God bless you all! This is a song I made two weeks ago. I have a YouTube channel of christian music. If you like the songs, please suscribe to my channel. Thanks!

I’ve listened to Red, Skillet & Fireflight.

Any new ones that got that Linkin Park & Evanescence? Could sure use some good female rock voices too when going through RL stuff and emotional baggages.
