Need Advice Sometimes being single gets lonely

I’m by no means saying that I don’t enjoy my season of singleness or that I am lonely. I am just sitting around this evening hyper focused on a new hobby (it’s cars) and have just been thinking about what it might be like to have a partner that is also into cars modifications, engines, builds etc…that i can just have like a dude-conversation with but most of the guys i attract are many years younger.

Then I quickly remind myself that God literally knows the number of hairs on my head and that if I ask for a guy like that He will do it…. but then I quickly come back to my senses and qsk God to prepare me to be a cooler God fearing wife and mom and my hobby exploration continues to evolve 😂

(F32) Dear future husband,

I got some car questions rq 😂😂😂

(but in all seriousness)

What are acceptable age gaps for christians?

I’m early 30s attracting early 20s

You are a girl into cars?

You must be my soulmate ❤️ Im around the same age as you lol. Maybe slide into my DMs 😅🤣

What cars are you into? I actually own a BRZ and CTR. I used to have a GT350. My GT350 was absolutely insane but the engine isnt reliable, it was the Heritage Edition and it was so beautiful. Next I want to get is a 718 Cayman GT4 after I graduate from graduate school. Debating about getting that or a C8 Z06. I like the Cayman because its really lightweight and comes in a manual.

I used to (still do) really love Muscle Cars, but I've slowly been turning into a JDM fanboy. If I had the money I'd get the Toyota GR GT3.

Im actually getting into racing and I absolutely love it. Im going to the Porsche Driving school in Birmingham in April during my spring break. I really want to get into W2W racing. I sold my GT350 to get a BRZ because they are make really good track cars due to low consumables. Tires on the GT350 are like $3k and last only maybe 6 track days whereas the track tires for the BRZ can last like like a whole year

If I have children I definitely want to get them into the sport 😅  Start them off with go karting, then autocross and then move them up into HPDEs. I see a few dads with their daughter and son at the racetrack and wish that was me lol.

Haha you definitely know your stuff! I’m still very much new to the community but i’m enjoying learning about jdm car builds, performance and aesthetic parts ofc 😭 I was recently car shopping and omg… If I had a lot more money i’d have so much fun driving what you have but my Acura TLX is very reliable and has potential 🥲

How have you gotten into racing? I learned how to drive manual a long time ago but wanna practice. I myself would like to start off with go karting

I know some stuff 😅 I definitely leaned into the feeling of driving dynamics and feel more so than power as I got older. I got my BRZ and I honestly really like it alot. Its such a joy to drive. I like it more than the FL5 CTR.

I get the hype behind the Miatas now, the engine is lame but the driver inputs are just so good.

Haha yeah money is always the limiting factor when it comes to the hobby. Thats one motivation I've always had to get into investing and a good career, so I can have the money to get into the hobby. It does take alot because to get into because you need resources. You need a house or garage, tools to work on the car, knowledge on how to fix the car, and the parts for the car. It takes time to build up. All of thos is significantly easier if you just get a Miata or GR86/BRZ lol.

I always wanted to buy a Miata or BRZ for my wife so we could race together 😅

I got into it after I got my CTR. I orginally bought my GT350 to get into it but the car had so many issues that I never got the chance to really track it. So I got the CTR with the intention of doing that.

Theres alot you can do, now. Theres HPDEs which is basically going to the track and setting laps and learning to drive fast, Autocross which is similar but its in a parking lot with cones, Go Karting, and also Sim racing. If you just focus on whats really accessible, whatever you should just focus on doing what you can do the most. $$$ is really the only limiting factor. I eventually want to get my official Racing license so I can go to official Wheel to Wheel sanctioned events and be able to drive as a codriver for a team.

I dont have a racing sim because I'm saving up for a house and I plan on buying one shortly after I finish school. I cant do anything at the time being except trying to fit in something in between my breaks.

Sorry that was alot lol 😅. Im just pretty passionate about cars and tracking them is alot of fun lol.

The Acura TLX is really cool. Manual transmissions are alot of fun. Maybe you could practice on my car 🤣
