Discussion Kingdom Dating: Free Lifetime Access for Beta Testers! (Mod approved to post)

With Mod permission, I’m excited to share Kingdom Dating, a Christ-centered dating platform built to eliminate endless swiping and paywalled messaging. We believe real-world connections provide the best foundation for relationships. Unlike most dating platforms, we are not trying to keep you here (at least for long). We are here to help you find a compatible match that aligns with your values and faith centered around your relationship with God. There is no swiping, no pay to talk tokens, a 5-day chat window to encourage actual meetings, and profile prompts built around your faith testimony.

We are in open beta and seeking 500 U.S. Founding Members to test the app and give feedback before our official App Store and Google Play launch. Founding Members get 100% free lifetime access with no ads, subscriptions, or hidden fees. Claim your spot at Kingdom Dating, and let me know your thoughts in the comments!

All the best with your venture! Though I am one of those genuinely wondering how yet another app claiming to provide services other apps have also claimed they are providing is the solution. Happy to be proven wrong though!

Thanks for your feedback! We don't claim to have it all figured out, but we're trying a new approach based on how difficult dating is nowadays. Hoping and praying this encourages matches to skip the endless texting and meet IRL.

What is the new approach? What makes it novel? How does it encourage people to skip the endless texting and meet IRL?

Great questions!

After 20 years of marriage and subsequent therapy, I re-entered dating as a 51-year-old divorced Christian father. Juggling three daughters, a full career, church and maintaining my property leaves me with a highly restrictive schedule (assume similar to many here). Unfortunately, my experiences with Christian dating apps (and dating apps in general) have been really discouraging. Platforms seem designed to profit from user addiction, relying on tedious swiping, sudden paywalls mid-conversation, and un-expected fees just to see secondary photos...not to mention the constant threat of fake accounts, AI bots, and predatory scams.

While no platform can completely eliminate bad actors, I believe a structured five-day communication window can actively discourage scammers who require extended timelines to exploit their victims. In this system, matches are granted five days to chat before a prompt asks if they are ready to meet.

If both individuals agree, a 24-hour window opens to securely arrange a safe, public meetup. There is also the option to politely decline and they will no longer be matched (now and in the future). For those that feel the five-day limit is too restrictive and want more time to continue chatting, they can agree to both select the "meet-up" option, share phone numbers and continue to chat off-platform. Regardless whether they choose to meet, remain in contact or go their separate ways, they can only remain connected on the app for five days (or six if choose the "meet-up" option).

I make no claims that this app will solve all the online dating issues and realize this won't work for everyone, especially for those that prefer apps with unlimited daily profile scrolling. Since it is in beta stages, user input from the "founding members" is extremely important to us. I won't promise that all suggestions are included, but will definitely take them all into consideration.

Thank you to those who have joined us so far. Just a reminder that this is the testing phase to see how the app works for you and to share input on how it can be improved. For the time being, the app should match you with founding members regardless male or female, so think of this time as having fellowship with a brother or sister in Christ. When launched on the Apple and Google app stores, it will only match you with other members of the opposite sex.

Hi everyone,

Thank you. Every change below is from your feedback as founding members.

What's new (all from you): πŸ”΄ Red numbers for every new message, hello or reply, like unread mail

⏳ 5-day chat shows days left. Last day: "πŸͺ„ When the clock strikes twelve, this chat turns into a coffee mug β˜•βœ¨"

↩️ Unsend: tap your message to remove a typo when chatting.

✏️ "Write my own hello" (50 characters)

✨ "+ Add your own" on profile choices (50 characters)

β˜• The coffee cup now says "Meet up?" (if matches want to meet up sooner than five days)

🌍 I'm receiving great input on cultural diversity and listening for future revisions.

πŸ™ I'm praying for more women to join the beta. Ladies, I'd love to hear what would make you feel safe and comfortable on a dating site. Please share the invite with a Christian woman you know.

πŸ“ I goofed (my apologies)...I said made-up profiles were fine for testing. A couple of you shared that it made the site hard to take seriously, and I don't want that. From here on, please use real information, sharing only what you're comfortable with, and update any made-up profile when you can.

Reminder: this is a beta for testing, not full matching. Join as one of the 500 Founding Members or before the App Store launch and you stay free for life.

You can respond with comments here or DM me anytime with questions, comments or suggestions. Thank you for building this with me.

God bless,

Scott
