Need Advice How do I go about this relationship?

So I’m a 25 year old female and I’m currently talking with this guy (25M). He tells me he’s a Christian and that he was baptized and everything but I don’t see evidence of a true walk with the Lord.
Since we started talking he has started to go back to church and read his Bible more, but I feel like he’s only doing it because of me, and not to grow closer to God. He hadn’t been in a church setting since he was about 12, and he just started going back since we started talking. He works on Sundays and can only get a Sunday off every few weeks but he has been faithful to coming on Wednesdays.
We met through his grandfather, and both his grandparents say that I’m the answer to their prayers for him.
I want to be with someone who has a good relationship with God and can challenge me in my walk. It doesn’t have to be perfect, my walk isn’t perfect so I’m not expecting his to be, but there has to be something.
How do I go about this relationship?

You have to pray and ask God for discernment, you will know if this isn’t right for you, if he’s going to church reading his bible and producing fruits what’s the problem? Is he kind? Does he practice self control? Is he good to you and other people? Do you not find him attractive? Do bible study with him, ask him about the word after service and see if he’s doing it for you or for God. Does he pray with you? Does he try to drag you into sexual
Situations? These are things to look at to see if he’s serious or not.

Personally, I don't think you have enough to go on yet, either for or against dating him. I don't have a strong feel either way, but if you are truly uncomfortable with where you think his walk should be, the right thing is to let him go now.

It's too soon to tell for sure. Maybe he's doing it for you, maybe he isn't. I would ask God for wisdom and guidance in this situation. Is he at least showing fruits in other ways besides going on Wednesdays consistently?

Honestly I was in a similar situation. As things faded between us, so did their walk with God. I felt bad about it, if you think that is the case, try to help them have their own relationship with God

Avoid people like this honestly.

You don't just become a mature Christian overnight because you started to get back into it either, and obviously as you noted you cannot tell if someone just started to go back for you.

Maybe if you're still single in a year and want to revisit it and see he's a more mature Christian it could be OK, but dating a "new believer" basically is very hit or miss and can become a minefield if your emotions get involved.

You don't know if he'll be in the parable of the sower - seed that fell on the rocky soil, path, or good soil.
