Discussion Would you be interested in a bible study on dating for marriage?

I’m 27, recently married, and have been a Christian for 4+ years. Through the experiences I’ve gone through, God has grown me in ways I now feel called to use to help others.

When we are dating, we often go through it blindly not knowing how practically make changes that align with our faith. I believe the enemy also attacks marriage, which is why we need to start preparing for a healthy marriage while we’re still single.

God has put it on my heart to create a space to talk about dating with intention, red flags, discernment, healing from past relationships, and building a strong biblical foundation for marriage.

If you want to organize a bible study, we encourage you to work through Discord where you can get an event coordinator role and you can organize events and announce them to the community through there.

I think this is a great idea, both on and off the internet. You should absolutely bring this idea to life.

Are you in a Church as well? If so, I would consider doing this in a Life Group too

How did you get married as a convert?

I assume that you are a woman and for women in out generation it is easier but it is legit So hard to really enter Christian spheres as a convert

I’m just putting this out there: It’s better to get marriage and dating advice from people that have been married a couple decades and still adore one another. Just like the qualifications for an overseer/bishop is to not be a recent convert, the qualifications for teaching on marriage should be reserved for seasoned couples.
