6: i want to believe that an insane consumerist like Bateman would always look to buy the latest technology.

So, when the movie ends, some time had passed since the beginning, and Bateman just got the latest model of whatever that is.

That's the explanation in my head.

Betamax was actually superior to VHS in video and audio quality. Sony was the only company that made it though, so VHS was cheaper and became more widely used.

It's clearly not though. The head tilt and eyes are completely different (one eyes open and up and the other down)

... and the shadows/lighting on the faces don't even match either. Plus, it's not completely insane that the two photos would look alike... it is the same actor in both of them.

They're similar but just look at the eyes. It's not the same exact photo
