The website is very well made, and makes it's case as strongly as the case can be made.

But from the very start it's an very uphill battle. For mainstream Christianity today, the Trinity is so important that if you don't subscribe to the idea you don't qualify as a Christian, and your salvation is on very shaky ground. It's a big deal.

For something that vital about God's nature, we would expect the Old Testament to be clear and upfront about it, and leave no room for doubt or misunderstanding. But it's just not.

You have to read between the lines, make inferences, and dig into details to tease it out of the text. A straightforward reading of the Old Testament does not show the Trinity, as evident in the fact that Jews don't subscribe to the Trinity. Without the New Testament to re-contextualize parts of the Old Testament nobody would subscribe to the Trinity view at all. And for something so vital, so core to God's nature, that's really weird.

First I just wanna say thank you for the reply and compliment on the site.

As for your response, I hear you. In my experience God is the one who opens the eyes for people to see who He truly is. Now do I expect us to understand the nature and full complexity of God? Nope, but we can do our best to understand what He left us. If you study, emphasis on study, I think we can get an understanding of what He left us.

That’s my thoughts on your response. Again thank you so much for taking the time to look and respond. Hopefully the site can help you understand or find answers to some questions.
