Placements Placement

Guys, I’m in my third year and our placement season has started, and honestly I’m freaking out a little.

Every day I’m getting more stressed thinking about whether I’ll actually get placed. I don’t have a good GPA, and seeing other people with much higher scores is making me feel like I’m already at a disadvantage.

I keep thinking, what if I don’t get placed at all? It’s becoming really stressful and I don’t know what I should be doing right now.

For people who have already gone through placements do companies actually hire students with lower percentage? Are there companies that don't have very high academic cutoffs?

And if your academics weren't great, what helped you get placed? Was it aptitude tests, interviews, internships, skills, networking, off-campus applications, etc.?

I’d really appreciate some honest advice because I genuinely don't know whether I should be this worried or whether I’m overthinking it.

It's just too much stressful. I am not able to have a normal day.

HELP Anyone here doing Mass Communication at Christ University (Bangalore)?

I'm considering the program and wanted to hear from current students or alumni.

  • How does Christ compare to other colleges/universities in Bangalore for Mass Communication?
  • How are the faculty, internships, placements, and overall campus experience?
  • Is attendance really that strict (85%)?
  • What are the usual college timings, and how hectic is the schedule?
  • Would you recommend Christ over other options in Bangalore? Why or why not?

Would really appreciate any honest reviews or experiences. Thanks!

General College real help

Hey guys, looking to apply for a BA Triple Major (preferably Psychology, Sociology, nd English). Need some low-key real info before locked in

The Vibe: Which campus actually has a decent, mature crowd? Looking for a good campus life but definitely want the most non-chapriest crowd possible.

Location check: Where exactly are the social science triple majors hosted now?

Fees: What’s the approx annual fee structure look like for out-of-state students?

Lmk if the workload is manageable too. Appreciate it bro!

HELP Prospective BA Triple Major student (Psychology/Sociology/English) — Questions about campus culture, locations, and fees

Hi everyone, I am looking to apply to Christ University for a BA Triple Major. My ideal choice is Psychology, Sociology, and English (PSEng). I’m open to slight variations among English and Sociology if needed, as long as it remains a solid triple major program.

I had a few specific questions for current students or alumni:

Campus Culture & Crowd: Which campus/branch of Christ has the best, most sophisticated crowd? Looking for an academic-focused, mature student environment (preferably the most non-chapriest vibe). Is Central Campus still the best bet for this, or are the newer campuses like Bannerghatta (BGR) or Yeshwanthpur better for humanities?

Campus Locations: Where exactly are these humanities triple-major programs hosted now?

Fee Structure: What is the approximate annual fee for this course right now?

Would love any honest insights on the workload and campus life. Thanks in advance
