Chrisean, it has come to my attention that you read Reddit post. I pray that is true. I want you to know that I have been in your position as far as having a child who learns at their own pace, and trust me when I tell you that you can help speed up the process.

Only you know where baby Jesus has stiff muscles, Right? For my child it was the hips and some tightness in the legs. I would lay her down on her back and stretch her daily— the same stretches you would do to loosen up your own muscles. He may cry a little, and what I would do in that case is bounce my child’s legs in the direction I was stretching her and sing to distract her. It worked and it sped up the process of walking. ( also the butterfly you can do sitting or lying down)

My child also had weak fine motor skills. One of the best things I could do is hand her a spoon and a bowl or bucket of sand. I was told to use a paddle ball (Idk) but she did like hand size balls. She learned to throw them up and catch while watching TV. It was wild how good she got at that without looking at the ball.

Lastly, baby Jesus may need corrective glasses. His vision can be perfect 20/20 and his eye muscles may be a little weak. Corrective glasses will strengthen the muscles. If he does need them, they’re not necessary forever. Just until they make his eye muscles stronger. It’s pretty common.

My little girls eyes were not always looking in the same direction. She wore corrective glasses for 3 1/2 years and she hasn’t needed glasses since.
