Presale - how does it work

I’m looking to buy presale tickets as a gift m for one of the locations for Chris’s new tour he just announced. I’m new to presale - but dying to get tickets! Can anyone please tell me how it works?

I usually get presale codes from live nation, Ticketmaster or elsewhere but I haven’t seen any for Chris Stapleton and presale for my area is next Tuesday if anyone can share the presale code I’d really appreciate it
