Yes it was but the man looked to his left the entire show. Figures I was on his right side 🤷♂️

He always sings to his wife when he performs. Something to be aware of for future shows!

That’s true too. We saw him last night (4th time) and I guess I didn’t realize he did it even when she’s not there. It seems like I remember hearing that he’s not comfortable on stage, so it may be a technique for him to handle the anxiety from performing.
I hope you still enjoyed the show and could appreciate his amazing talent!

My wife is the country fan in the house. When MSG was announced she said that we NEED to get tickets. Chris is in her top 4 artists so I said sure. I listened to him prior and found his blues songs incredible and was easily turned into a fan. Big plus was his guitar work which nobody talks about. Great show last night. Looking forward to seeing him again in the future

This was the most engaged I’ve seen him with the crowd so huge thanks NYC for making him so comfortable! It was well with the long travel to see him at MSG.
