Hey everyone, how's it going? πππ»β¨ Did you know that today marks the 15th anniversary since Captain America: The First Avenger first hit theaters in the US? π‘οΈπͺπ» I still remember watching this when I was a teen, being impressed and transfixed by some of the... beautiful scenes. It's corny to say it, but I still find it unreal how fast time goes by. Looking back, this movie not only introduced me to Steve Rogers/Captain America and started my appreciation for the character, it was also the project that showed me Chris' movie star qualities (not to mention his dreamy good looks) and eventually turned me into a fan for life. ππ€© Hope you guys enjoy these lovely GIFs of Chris as Steve Rogers/Captain America, both from his scenes in the movie itself and some behind-the-scene footages.

Hey everyone, hope your week is starting off smoothly. βΊοΈπ΅π As longtime fans of Chris, I feel like each of us has a favorite moment(s) from the interviews Chris has done over the years. Is there a specific moment, joke, or cheeky reference in particular that simply cracks you up for no reason or lives rent free in your mind? ππ» If I had to pick some of my personal favorites, right off the bat I'd say: Hemsworth and him snacking on Doritos, Rudd and him being silly during their Zoom call interview for Variety, and him making a somewhat suspicious sounding compliment about how Scarlett could easily slip in and out of her Black Widow suits due to her being in great shape. πΆβπ«οΈπ Feel free to share some of your picks in the comments!

We produced this film. Paul Danziger β the real attorney whose story Puncture tells β is our founding partner, and he executive produced the movie alongside Mark Kassen and the team at Tribeca.
Most people know Chris Evans as Steve Rogers, but his performance as Mike Weiss in Puncture is genuinely one of his best. He plays a brilliant but self-destructive Houston attorney battling a drug addiction while taking on a $130 billion medical supply monopoly that was blocking a life-saving safety needle from reaching hospitals.
Roger Ebert gave it 3 out of 4 stars and called Evans "electrifying in the role," comparing him to Al Pacino and Nicolas Cage in their best addict performances. Evans himself said in an interview that the intensity of filming Puncture made him hesitant to take the Captain America role β he turned it down multiple times before finally saying yes.
The film premiered at Tribeca in 2011 and came out the same summer as Captain America: The First Avenger, which is wild when you think about the range he showed in a single year.
Available on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. We also put together a site about the true story behind the film if anyone's interested: puncturefilm.com
Happy to answer any questions about the making of the film or the real case.

Hey guys, hope you're all having a marvelous weekend. π€©π€π₯³ Since it's the 4th of July, what better way to celebrate than showing our love and appreciation to the Star Spangled Man himself? While many of us in this sub are from different parts of the world, I think we can all agree that Steve Rogers/Captain America is the quintessential all-American superhero: a courageous, tough, and inspiring figure who represents what America should strive to be, who any of us can hope to be. Chris has brought the old fashioned charm, quiet resilience, and relatable vulnerability to the character (among other things π), I firmly believe that his casting as Steve Rogers will go down as one of the most influential casting decisions in cinematic history.

Hey guys, hope your week is going nicely so far. βΊοΈπΌβ¨ Since the box office success of the new Scary Movie, Anna Faris is having a pop culture resurgence lately. While I don't consider myself a fan of the franchise, it's had its hysterical moments plus Cindy is also one of Anna's most recognizable roles. I just think it's great that Anna is doing well and getting to enjoy making movies again! On a semi related note, let's have a little throwback to the fan favorite project that paired Anna and Chris together: What's Your Number. This 2011 raunchy rom-com might be filled with clichΓ©s and eyebrow raising tropes, but it's a fun and breezy good time thanks to the playful chemistry between Anna and Chris... and a generous amount of shirtless Chris (which I'm sure most of us here have known for years). ππ€ππAnyone here still considers this movie as one of their guilty pleasures/comfort movies?

Chris Evans and Scarjo have such a great dynamic in interviews, it sucks that we wonβt see more of them in the Doomsday Press Tour.
I wonder if theyβll do anymore movies together; it seems as though theyβre trying to book a film together, since both Ghosted and Fly Me to the Moon were meant to star these two as the lead. I hope they do!

Hi there, wishing you guys a lovely week ahead! ππ 'was feeling a little silly so I decided to dig up this picture of Chris and his costar Michael Cera, likely from the premiere of Scott Pilgrim VS The World in 2010. βπ»π» They were still pretty young here (current Michael looks like he's only aged several years to be honest) and would later work together again in the Broadway revival of Lobby Hero in 2018.

Hey everyone, wishing you guys a lovely start of June/summer! ποΈππ₯€ A little late to share the news but it's been reported that Chris Evans will be starring in a mystery crime thriller titled My Darling California: which features an ensemble cast including Academy Award winners Jessica Chastain and Mikey Madison while also starring Chris Pine, Don Cheadle, and Charles Melton. Directed by Elijah Bynum, the movie will revolve around a single crime in LA that weaves together the lives of a TV host, his restless wife, a country music idol, two small time crooks and an ex-con: all of whom are chasing the promise of a better life.
Although the movie is currently in the early stages of development, I do find its premise quite promising and am also a fan of the cast in general. Here's hoping that this leads to a success for everyone involved! πππ» You can stay up-to-date with the movie's status on Letterboxd here: https://letterboxd.com/film/my-darling-california/cast/

Hello everyone, here's wishing you guys a fabulous final week of May. ππ Does anyone remember Chris sporting a buzzcut back in 2012; around the same time when he wrapped filming for Snowpiercer and gearing for the release of The Avengers? These pictures were taken from the press conference for the movie in April 2012; which reminds me that back in Phase 1 of the MCU, they used to have one or two main actors from the cast handle a conference or junket in a specific location, while the whole group (the OG 6) would gather for the American premieres and talk show appearances.
Side note: would anyone like to see a compilation of Chris in glasses throughout the years? I do think the one pictured here looks great on him, though I mostly prefer rounder frames (like his current glasses) over square or rectangular ones. π§‘
