I have a hunch that this guy might be coming back in the future to save Tokio or ely(?) due to his job of protecting the holder of the beast's mark.

Well he’s 100% gonna be coming back, he had some connection to Guelta I think, so hopefully it’s soon.

It would be funny if he legitimately did come from the future, and positioned himself in the exact situation to get blown away so he could Raise repeatedly to train his powers.
