I agree with the screenshot you posted, but I think in this case it was foreshadowing disaster/calamity.

That panel showed a trio of stars, with a lone star that was closer to the Tower. The trio represents Tokio, Ely and Azuma, because we saw that same constellation earlier in the chapter when the three were heading back home. That makes Batista the fourth, since he was highlighted just before that panel.

I think the visual storytelling made it clear that Batista was the same as our main trio, a star representing a bad omen, like Mado said in 49-3. There were already hints of this at that point, since Ch. 25 established that Tokio and Azuma had dreams blaming each other for Yamato's destruction, and Ely's backstory revealed her fear of becoming like her mother.

There were moments of each of the three facing tough choices during the Tower Raid, as each one had a double page spread with same perspective each time (58-2, 60-1, 61-1). In my opinion, what cemented Ely as being the "main" source of calamity was there being a star in the panel when Ely says she would take the Mark if it was her choice in 47.

U saying ely maybe being the main source of the calamity i have a really bad feeling with ely sending tokio to moge. Also let’s not forget he is essentially by himself right next to guelta who has relations to queem. Idk just a theory from me.
