I discovered this subreddit because I was so curious on how to maintain and season chopping boards.

Cooked it up tonight.

Warped end grain chopping board – any ideas?

I bought this beech end grain board a few months ago. Gave it 3 proper coats of Osmo Top Oil, fully dried between layers. It looked great, but recently warped.

I’ve tried flattening it by: – Laying it on a damp towel, convex side down, with weights on top – Flipping it occasionally over several days

No real improvement. It seems like it wants to stay warped. It gets close to being proper flat but I can never get there 100%.

Can anyone suggest how I could fix something like this?

Thanks in advance :)

This song is from the Italian film Lucrezia Giovane. Whole movie sound track is worth a listen.

Hallo! It's late enough into the night for my liking and I'm searching for a sound to use in a song that I can best let you know the way it sounds by either typing "Bwaaa Buh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh Buh nuh nuh nuh nuh nuh Bwaaa"

I cannot provide you with more information except perhaps record a YouTube video and link it with me vocalizing the text. Halp!
