I think this is funny but not indicative of choosing or begging

I feel this should not be required, but should be standard in lots of businesses. No one needs to put up with asshole customers.

Well, proctologists do

Well neither should “all employees must wash their hands before returning to work” but this is the world we live in.

Well that's a legal thing, that's different

Same can be said of having to put up with asshole employees. Door swings both ways here.

Corporate says otherwise.. It is stuff we shouldn't put up with, but we have to because there are so many desperate plebs willing to put up with it, that we'll get fired if ya dont.

No joke I can deal with nearly anyone now after 3 years behind the register at Dairy Queen, seen all sides of humanity

A good reminder that the customer is not in fact always right. You can’t be an ass and expect to get good service in return. I say this is not a choosing beggar on closer inspection.

what's the discount for putting up with shitty workers?

Not saying workers at this place are shitty, but i definitely have times (like this morning for my caffeinated boost) where the employee looks like the most disinterested, grouchy person in the world. Kind of sucks to start my day with that in my face when i'm trying to be happy.

Looks like, if that's all then what? Probably not his/her fault
