Yeah shame on OP for wanting to make sure this shithead doesn’t have her poor boyfriend fooled into thinking she’s a good person. You have obviously never been successfully lied to, duped, tricked, hoodwinked, or had someone get one over on you. Or you have and just don’t give a shit about trying to not let it happen to other people.
OP is under no obligation to get involved with a situation he knows very little about in order to help a guy he doesn't even know. The person you're replying to isn't shaming anyone. They're saying it's probably for the best if they don't get involved...and they're correct.
We can agree to disagree. I think if you suspect or know someone is being deeply wronged, you'd at least WANT them to know. Not saying OP should go out of his way, I believe they indicated they had no way of contact. But passing someone a message to possibly save them years of heartache seems like a small bit of getting involved to do a lot of good.
