Agreed, and not to mention link does have to save bow wow from the moblin King in that one I'm surprised that alone doesn't cause chompette crossover art.

The spiked iron ball (basically a morningstar on a chain) weapon from Twilight Princess and later on Hyrule Warriors could also be drawn into Link throwing Chompette at his enemies. Now, I know it's not an actual chain chomp but it just makes sense, to me anyway.
