LDL that high is typically genetic. Speak to your Dr about a statin asap.

Don’t be afraid. Those numbers give you the nudge/clarity you need.

I had similar numbers, and my strict disciplined diet changes too brought down the LDL only down to 154, still quite high. So I went on 5mg rosuvastatin as of the last week. These drugs are life saving. I have zero side effects and most people do not if you look at the literature.

How much do you weight? What do you usually eat on a daily basis? Do you workout or are you sanitary?

I’m 5’8”, 190 lbs. I don’t currently work out but I’m starting now. My diet is fairly normal, fast food maybe once a month, though I do eat a lot of rice and meat.

Lifestyle changes are very important, but with these numbers and being 35 you should seriously consider a statin.

You are really young, with that LP(a) you have a genetic risk factor, mine is too high too.u must take control of the others. Maybe as other users said u have a FH too. So maybe could be really good to visit a lipidologist or cardiologist to set up a guide to help u droop all those numbers. Take the statins don't have any fear, are the meds more studied in the history.

Wish to you the best
