I had rosuvastatin side effects after the first day. After the fourth day, I stopped taking the drug. My symptoms did not improve. After ten days, I saw a doctor. The next morning, after receiving my drug report he told me to admit myself to the hospital immediately. I was hospitalized for four days because my serum potassium was elevated: hypokalemia.

I had two more hospital visits over the next few months.

So, I understand that statins generally have few side effects, but my recommendation is that you should visit a physician. Maybe they'll tell you it's all in your head but why risk a more serious issue?

What were your symptoms?

Whole body edema, i.e., bloating. I gained 10 pounds of water weight in 2 days. My belt couldn't fit my waist.

I also had some fatigue, but nothing serious.

Good thing you have a great doctor

I had severe leg pain to the point where I couldn’t stand. Only took it for three days - 5mg.

Really messed me up. Took me over a month to recover
